Security video released of suspect in shooting that injured Uber driver

Police have released security video of a suspect they believe is connected to a shooting that injured an Uber driver in downtown Toronto last month.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. outside of a bar in the area of Trinity Bellwoods near Dundas Street West and Bathurst Street.

Police say several shots were fired and a stray bullet hit an Uber driver in the arm as the vehicle was turning the corner.

The suspect is described as black, with a dark complexion, between 20 to 25 years of age, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a medium build and short black hair.

He was wearing a red/orange puffy vest, and a light-coloured hooded top, with a white logo on the front underneath the vest. He was also wearing dark blue jeans and white sneakers.

Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
