Saskatoon taxi driver robbed of cash, cell phone

SASKATOON – A woman is in custody and two more people are sought after a Saskatoon taxi driver said he was robbed. Police were alerted to the robbery just before 9:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday in the 1100-block of Bedford Road.

The cabbie told police three people took his cash and a cell phone. He was not injured in the robbery.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested and will appear Thursday morning in Saskatoon provincial court on a robbery charge.

Police are still looking for a man and a woman. The only description police have is that they are in their late 20s or early 30s and aboriginal.
