A Toronto woman has been charged with counterfeiting after a police sting seized upwards of 100 fake TTC tokens.
Police said undercover officers arranged to meet Tuesday with a woman selling counterfeit tokens.
She was arrested after investigators allegedly seized 109 fake tokens, with police saying a search warrant at her home found an unspecified number of additional bogus transit coins.
Jia Zeng, 27, is charged with possession counterfeit slug, sell counterfeit slug, attempted fraud under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
She is due in court June 17.
