MOSCOW – Local police say a grenade explosion during a drunken argument in Russia’s north has killed one person and wounded four others.

Police said Sunday that the argument at a village bus stop about 150 kilometres (95 miles) north of St. Petersburg turned ugly when one of the men left the scene and returned with a grenade in his hand. Police said the grenade exploded, killing the man on the spot, and wounding four others at the bus stop. Three of them were hospitalized.
