WINNIPEG — Fire crews were battling an early morning blaze on Thursday.
It happened just before 3:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Oakland Avenue.

Police say the fire started in a garage, but quickly spread to a neighbouring home.
All residents were evacuated safely and officers say there are no injuries.
Fire and police remain on the scene Thursday morning and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
