BC Hydro has gone to court in an effort to remove a protest camp outside its Vancouver headquarters.
The utility company filed a notice of civil claim and an application for an injunction in B.C. Supreme Court to ban Site C protesters from camping overnight at its Dunsmuir Street property.

It hopes to put an end to a protest camp that was set up in March. They say the camp is a health risk and prevents employees from accessing the building.
On April 7, BC Hydro told campers they do not have permission to be on the property overnight, suggesting they could set up in an area in front of the Hydro office from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The protesters have not complied.
