The two students, whose ages weren’t given, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Halifax Regional School Board spokesperson Doug Hadley told Global News in an email that students at the school believe the affected students may have eaten something causing them to have a reaction.

Hadley said he couldn’t confirm if it was drugs, “although that appears to be the case.”

RCMP say their investigation is ongoing.
