Firefighters battled a destructive blaze at a Fredericton home early Sunday morning.
The fire destroyed one home on Charlotte Street and caused significant damage to a nearby home on York Street.
The fire started around 1 a.m. AT, and was “30 or 40 feet in the air when [firefighters] arrived on scene,” Platoon Captain Jeff Mills told a local radio station.
No one was hurt, but since both three-storey houses were split into apartments, it was not immediately known how many people will be displaced by the blaze.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
