A closer inspection revealed a circulation fan had caught fire.

Firefighters quickly cut power to the fan, extinguished the flames and did a sweep of the building to ensure the fire had not spread beyond the immediate area.

No one was in the building.

Damage was limited to the area around the fan.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation, but with the hot weather, it is possible the fan had been working overtime to keep the building ventilated.
