Teens arrested after stolen truck chase from Saskatoon to St. Denis

SASKATOON – Six teens were arrested Sunday after a wild chase that led Saskatoon police all the way out to St. Denis. It started when police said they spotted a stolen Dodge Ram 2500 heading westbound on College Drive.

One person fled the vehicle when it slowed down near 25th Street and 3rd Avenue, and police were able to catch him.

Police deployed stop sticks, flattening at least one tire, but the truck continued north on Warman Road, then crossed Circle Drive Bridge before heading east on Highway 5.

Police said the occupants kept throwing stuff out of the truck and at police.

The truck finally stopped when it missed a turn at a T-intersection near St. Denis, about 50 kilometres east of Saskatoon.

The six teens, between the ages of 13 and 18, will be in court Monday facing a variety of charges.
