A Calgary poultry plant has been fined thousands of dollars, after an ammonia leak almost three years ago.
The leak at the Lilydale processing plant in September of 2009 forced hundreds of nearby residents to stay indoors.

Officials said the leak was due to worker error, and the province laid charges two years later.
The company has been handed an $180,000 fine after pleading guilty to the leak.
