KAMLOOPS–June Bergh collected her $50 million prize in Kamloops today.

The grandmother from Kelowna is the winner of the Lotto Max jackpot for the April 8 draw.

“When I first checked my ticket, initially I thought I won $50 thousand and I asked my husband to take a look and double check it.  He instantly became dazed when he realized we were holding a $50 million ticket,” says Bergh.

The winning ticket was purchased at Safeway in Kelowna on Highway 97 North.

Bergh says she plans on sharing her winnings with her children and grandchildren, as well as taking a cruise with her husband of 54 years.
