WINNIPEG — The Assiniboine Park Conservancy is needing 150 volunteers to fill a variety of roles as the busy summer season approaches.
“Park and zoo volunteers help with a wide range of activities year-round and play an essential role in the Assiniboine Park and Zoo visitor experience,” said Shaun Leonoff, APC Advisor, Volunteer Resources.
“If you love the outdoors, wildlife and engaging with people, I encourage you to apply to our program today.”
Volunteer positions are open to anyone aged 16 years or older. New this year is the position of “zoo camp crew.”
Current volunteer opportunities include:
- Ambassadors
- Interpreters
- Visitor Services Concierge
- Special Event Assistants
- Zoo Camp Crew
