What is Saskatchewan’s worst road? It’s a question being asked by the Saskatchewan CAA in its fifth annual worst road campaign.
Starting Friday, drivers can nominate and vote for the worst road in the province, which typically have potholes, cracks, crumbling pavement or are in disrepair.
Last year, over 280 roads were nominated and more than 4,500 voter were received, with Highway 354 near Dilke being voted the worst. Highway 4 by Val Marie was second followed by Highway 322 in the Silton area.

Previous top worst roads were Highway 24 by Leoville (2014), and Highway 123 near Cumberland House (2013).
CAA officials said while there have been improvements to roads and highways in the province, there is more work to be done.
This year, CAA Saskatchewan is partnering with the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association and the Saskatchewan Scrap Tire Association, to share insights and knowledge about road composition and conditions.
Nominations and voting ends on April 28 and the top 10 will be announced on May 2.
