Even though it’s old news for Canadians, an old photograph of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau doing the “peacock pose” on a table is going viral around the world.
Saturday Night Live grabbed onto the trending photo in their news parody segment, “Weekend Update,” saying it “explains why your aunt took her laptop into the bathroom.”

They then poked fun at German Chancellor Angela Merkel saying she outdid Trudeau by releasing a photo of her “dead lifting a Volkswagen.”
Trudeau’s photo was taken several years ago while he was in Parliament Hill’s Liberal Caucus room.
