Those watching the Rob Ford funeral closely may have noticed it — members of Ford’s family wore red-and-blue Ford Nation ties.
The unique items were created for the former mayor’s funeral and worn by Doug Ford, Randy Ford, Michael Ford and former Ford aide Dan Jacobs.
Newediuk Funeral Homes owner John Newediuk said it’s something they do for high-profile funerals.
“It’s an opportunity for us to address the family with something a little bit special,” he said.
Staff involved with the funeral and the hearse driver also wore the ties.
Newediuk said the ties are not for sale.
Similar special ties were made for the funeral of former Tory cabinet member Jim Flaherty.
