What he saw was a winning MAXMILLIONS ticket worth $1 million from the Feb. 26 LOTTO MAX draw.

The Edmonton resident plans to pay off his mortgage, take a trip and help his family.

“I’ll use some of the money to help my sons with their education,” Yu said. “And we might take a family trip to Montreal later this year.”

Yu bought the winning ticket at the South Edmonton Common Superstore, at 97 Street and 23 Avenue.
