Liberal MP’s Star Wars reference takes a turn to the dark side

REGINA – The Force was not strong with the Liberal MP for Regina-Wascana this weekend.

On March 19, Ralph Goodale got an earful (well…twitter-message-ful) from Star Wars fans this weekend after he posted this picture from the Saskatchewan Science Centre Gala.

After they saw the tweet, several Star Wars fans shared their disappointment that Goodale did not know the difference between a Stormtrooper and one of the world’s most popular movie villains.

One Twitter user even quipped about Liberals not being able to distinguish evil.

The Liberal MP for Regina-Wascana later informed Twitter that his phone encountered some 'droid trouble' but thanks to renewed cyber security, he was able to post a picture of Darth Vader.
