TORONTO — Police say a 43-year-old Barrie, Ont., man was arrested on outstanding warrants after he informed police and willingly hopped in the back of a cruiser.
Officers responded to a disturbance on Anne Street in Barrie at about 2 p.m. Sunday and located three men behind a tire store.

The man was then allegedly located minutes later walking southbound on Anne Street, with police adding in a release “this time he didn’t run.”
Police said the man then indicated to arresting officers, “I have outstanding warrants; I might as well hop in the back” of the cruiser.
The man was arrested on five outstanding warrants and taken to a police station and held for bail.
