Plains Midstream Canada to update progress made cleaning oil spill

A Calgary-based energy company plans to host an information session this week, to update the public on the progress they have made in cleaning an oil spill earlier this month.

The spill on June 7th left crude oil from a pipeline near Sundre released into Gleniffer Reservoir.

Plains Midstream Canada will be holding a public forum on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the James River Community Hall north of Sundre, where an information centre has been set up.
For those not able to visit the information centre, information on response efforts is also available by calling 1-866-670-8073 toll-free.

Regular information updates, including photos, are available at www.plainsresponds.com.
