It’s estimated a two-alarm fire at a City of Toronto operations yard in Scarborough overnight caused between $5 to $10 million in damages.
Toronto Fire Services said the fire began inside the facility near Ellesmere and Midland overnight and was extinguished around 3 a.m.
Crews were still battling hot spots as of 7:30 a.m., however no injuries were reported.

There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire.
