It airs on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and at midnight.
Take a look at who we’re meeting this week on Focus Montreal:
Beaconsfield native, Brittany Kennell, wins spot on the Voice
A local talent has become the first ever Canadian contestant on The Voice.
Earlier this week, Brittany Kennell dominated the stage singing Sheryl Crow’s Strong Enough and immediately caught the attention of judge Blake Shelton.
Brittany Kennell’s mom, Theresa Valentine, and her two sisters, Stacey and Lindsay Kennell, sat down with senior anchor Jamie Orchard to talk about the exciting news.
Tax-season Tips
That troublesome season we call tax-time is once again upon us.
Millions of Canadians are gathering their receipts – pulling out their calculators and getting all their paperwork in order.
The deadline for filing is April 30th.
And whether you’re filing online or with an expert, the nuances can be tricky.
This is true especially in Quebec, where there are a few new rules to watch out for this year.
Dan Huber, a financial planner with Investors Group dropped by Focus Montreal studios with his top tips for navigating tax-season changes.
The Boys and Girls Club to host fundraiser
The Boys and Girls Club of Dawson Community Centre in Verdun, provides a safe, supportive place where young people can overcome barriers, build positive
relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
It’s a non-profit organization and it relies on donations to survive.
One of its major fundraisers is a cocktail soiree, coming up on March 23.
The centre’s executive director, Pietro Bozzo, joined senior anchor Jamie Orchard to talk about the upcoming soiree.
