CALGARY – A 7-year-old girl was rushed to hospital on Thursday after being hit by a truck in the community of New Brighton.
It happened in the 100 block of New Brighton Green S.E. at around 6:45 p.m.

EMS transported the girl to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in serious but stable, non-life threatening condition with a lower leg injury.
The driver stayed at the scene.
It’s unknown if charges will be laid.
