UPDATE: IHIT takes conduct after last week’s shooting in Abbotsford

UPDATE: The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the victim shot on Hawthorne Ave March 10 has succumbed to his injuries. 

Two people are in critical condition after a shooting in Abbotsford Thursday evening.

It happened in a home in the 33300-block of Hawthorne Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. The two people, ages 21 and 22, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Abbotsford Police say the shooting was not random.

APD Major Crime Detectives and Forensic Identification Officers have been on scene throughout the night.
