P.K. Subban meets baby hit by puck at Canadiens practice

MONTREAL – After being struck in the head by a puck, one of the Montreal Canadiens‘ youngest fans got a little love from star defender P.K. Subban.

On Sunday, Feb. 21, Subban was throwing pucks into the stands to young fans when one of them knocked one-month-old Béatrice unconscious.

Wednesday, Subban tweeted a photo of him cradling the infant, writing “Glad to see you doing well Beatrice!”

The infant was given CPR on site and rushed to the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Béatrice’s mother Valérie Meloche has since taken to Facebook to say she is doing well.
