In June 2012, the Canadian Forces military police charged Master Corporal Clayton Holloway with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.

In a news release, the Canadian Forces said the alleged material was found on Holloway’s personal computer while he was serving in Afghanistan. He was immediately sent back to Canada.

“The possession of child pornography is illegal and unacceptable,” Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Delaney, Commanding Officer of the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service, said in the release. “These are serious crimes and any incidents of this nature involving CF members, DND employees, or that occur on Defence establishments will be investigated to the fullest extent.”
