His food and his fiery no-holds-barred attitude have taken him to the top. Now he might help make a local Saskatchewan product come out on top.

The next time you dine out at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, Saskatoon berries just might be on the menu. That’s if everything goes according to plan for SREDA CEO Alex Fallon.

Fallon offered the key ingredient to the head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Union Street café in London.

Both the entrée and dessert featured the delicious prairie berry. And the chefs were given a sample to try.

Fallon is currently on a week-long trade mission to the U.K., where he is touting the economic benefits of Saskatoon.
