The participants started in the damp weather on Saturday at 10 a.m. and wrapped up at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Despite the cool and wet conditions, 29 teams managed to raise around $209,000, which is the most that has been raised in the event’s seven year history in Kelowna.

The money goes towards helping children in the Okanagan and the surrounding region who live with life threatening illnesses, such as cancer and muscular dystrophy, and sending the children to Camp Winfield.
