Niagara Region police say they’ll be monitoring beaches during an annual end-of-school tradition.
Thousands of high school students are expected to skip class for the Beach Day ritual today and police warn they won’t tolerate any trouble.

Officers say they’ll be watching for any sign of alcohol, violence, vandalism or other misconduct.
Beach Day was originally planned for last Friday but got postponed due to bad weather.
