The pilot of a powered hang glider has died after a crash between Armstrong and Enderby Thursday morning.

Emergency crews were called to a field in the 5600-block of Back Enderby Road, just after 9:30 a.m., after reports of an ultra light plane crash.

Emergency crews on scene said the pilot was on a training flight at the time of the crash, and it appears he lost control and collided with the ground.

The age and hometown of the pilot is not being released at this time.

The RCMP and Coroners Service are continuing to investigate this incident.
