A Florida woman who was injured during an arrest on Feb. 19 claims the police used excessive force.
Tiffany Tebo has four staples in her head and bruises around her neck after she was arrested outside a department store for allegedly shoplifting in Wesley Chapel, Fla.
“I’m all bruised up and all banged up everywhere,” Tiffany Tebo told WTSP News. “He’s a bigger man. He didn’t need to do all that.”
“He had a hold of me, so he could’ve just put handcuffs on me. There was no reason to throw me down to the ground,” Tebo said.

“We’re trying to put handcuffs on her,” Nocco said to WTSP.”I know people are going to say ‘well, she’s tiny.’ Well, you know what, even tiny people cause a lot of damage and harm.”
Nocco also said Tebo has herself to blame for her injuries.
“She’s the one who caused this whole incident to occur from the initial… theft within the store to the fact that she disobeyed the orders and she would not comply,” Nocco added.
But Tebo said the officer could have caused more harm than the injuries she sustained.
