The Franklin Park Zoo welcomed a new kid to its herd on Wednesday.
The Boston-based zoo posted photos and video of Chewbacca, the baby Nigerian dwarf goat born to parents Leia and Lucky.
A statement from the zoo said the chestnut-haired baby goat clocked in at four pounds and appeared “bright, alert and active.”

“We are thrilled to share the news of this birth,” said Zoo New England president John Linehan, adding that Chewbacca is “adorable.”
According to the zoo, Nigerian dwarf goats are known for being gentle and easy going. Originally from West Africa, the goats have been domesticated and can be found around the world.
