Two people have been charged following a drug bust in northern Saskatchewan. Mounties said they made the bust following a drug trafficking investigation in La Ronge.

Police say they seized cocaine, marijuana and cash when they executed search warrants Friday evening on a vehicle and home in La Ronge.

Sean Franks, 41, is charged with cocaine trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of under 30 grams of cannabis and proceeds of crime.

Lanelle Lariviere, 36, is charged with possessing cocaine and possessing under 30 grams of cannabis.

Both La Ronge residents were scheduled to appear in provincial court Monday morning.
