Fatal collision involving semi-truck near Boissevain, Manitoba

A 37-year-old Alberta man is dead after his vehicle crashed into a semi-truck on a highway near Boissevain, Manitoba on Thursday.

The collision happened at around 1:40 p.m., at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 10.  RCMP said a vehicle was travelling eastbound on Highway 3 when it collided with a semi-truck travelling northbound on Highway 10.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver did not have any serious injuries.

A traffic analyst is assisting the ongoing investigation in order to establish all contributing factors to the collision.
