Family of missing Okotoks man concerned for his well-being

UPDATE: Okotoks man found in Kananaskis, treated for injuries

Okotoks RCMP are looking to the public for help locating a missing 19-year-old.

Zachary Lavin was last seen leaving his home in the southern Alberta town on Feb. 17 at around 4 p.m. He was on his way to work in Blackfalds, Alta., but never showed up and hasn’t since returned home.

Lavin was driving a white 2005 GMC Jimmy SUV with Alberta license plate BTD-6020.

His family is concerned for the 19-year-old’s well-being, as he requires medication which he may not have access to.

Lavin is described as 6’ tall and 170 lbs. He has brown hair and blue/green eyes. When he was last seen, Lavin was wearing jeans and a hoodie.

Anyone with information of Lavin’s whereabouts is asked to call Okotoks RCMP at 403-995-6400 or contact Crime Stoppers.
