Kanye West went on an expletive-fuelled tirade backstage before his performance on Saturday Night Live last Saturday, and celebrity site Page Six managed to snag some audio of the rant. You can listen below:
He consistently threatens SNL staff by yelling “don’t f–k with me.”

The rapper went on the tirade mere minutes before the live show, hosted by Melissa McCarthy, started up. He was allegedly displeased with the SNL crew taking down his stage set-up.
Page Six reports that SNL showrunner Lorne Michaels had to reason with West to keep him from leaving. The rapper eventually acquiesced and stayed to perform.
West has been all over the media in the past several weeks with his racially charged bizarre tweets, which some say are subversive advertising for his new album, The Life of Pablo (it was released on streaming service Tidal last week). He also launched the latest iteration of his fashion line Yeezy Season 3 in conjunction with TLOP.

Last week, the rapper tweeted that he’s $53 million in debt, and proceeded to ask Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for money.

A GoFundMe page has even been set up to help West, with a target goal of $53 million. As of this writing, it’s hit a paltry $3,738. Interestingly, many of the donating parties are using the page as advertisement for their own businesses, posting their site URLs and blurbs about themselves.
The page’s goal states:
Recently, Kanye let us in on his personal struggle. He is 53 million dollars in debt and it doesn’t look like he’s going to get Mark Zuckerberg’s help that he desperately needs. We must open our hearts and wallets for Kanye today. Sure he is personally rich and can buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, the true genius of Kanye West can’t be realized.
As Kanye West has told us time and time again he is the “greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time”. Great artists need to be supported financially to achieve their full potential.
