Police search for missing Aboriginal woman, believe safety may be at risk

RCMP in Nova Scotia are searching for 35-year-old Marianne Elizabeth Burbine, a Beaverdam woman who was last seen on Monday morning.

Police say she may also go by the last name Nickerson.

She left her home in Beaverdam on Monday morning and her family hasn’t heard from her since.

Police believe her safety may be at risk.

She is described as an Aboriginal female, about five feet eight inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. She has light brown hair and blue eyes.

Police also say she may be driving a 2007 red Pontiac G6 with the Nova Scotia license plate EEZ 534.
