Bomb squad investigates suspicious package at Winnipeg Boston Pizza

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Police Service bomb squad investigated a suspicious package at a Boston Pizza Monday night.

Police were called to the restaurant in the 2200 block of McPhillips Street at around 7:40 p.m.

The restaurant was evacuated for several hours. After investigating, the police said the incident was “deemed safe”.
