TORONTO – There’s a lot of buzz about a hot car on the market, one featuring such sexy features as leather seats, four rubber wheels, windshield wipers and left and right turn signals.

Yeah okay, it’s not actually that special.

But they’re among the selling points listed in this hilarious parody commercial from a local filmmaker who’s been frustrated in his attempts to sell his car online.

“I’ve been trying to sell my car on Kijji and a few other platforms for the last year and I’ve had a few bites, but no one’s bought it yet,” Rob Comeau told Global News.

Then his friend and fellow filmmaker Chris Hau suggested making an “epic car commercial” to market the car and its fantastic features, which also includes a windshield and a “bi-directional transmission that allows you to go forward and backward.”

The commercial has exploded online, with over 100,000 views in 24 hours. Comeau says it’s generated a few more leads as well.

But as the ad itself intones, “Serious offers only, we’re not joking around.”
