RCMP have raided the Dakota Chundee Smoke Shop several times since it opened in Fall 2011. Charge have been laid under provincial tobacco tax laws.

Despite having lost thousands of dollars in confiscated cigarettes, owners continue running the shop. The province is hoping Winnipeg courts will shut down the shop for good.

The march began at Salter Street and Burrows Avenue at 8:00 a.m.
