Murder charge laid after man found dead at apartment building in north Toronto

TORONTO — Police have a laid a second-degree murder charge in the weekend death of a man at a Toronto Community Housing building.

Officers responding early Sunday morning found 51-year-old Arthur Kent Taylor suffering from trauma at 5 Wakunda Plaza, an 11-floor TCH apartment building.

He was declared dead at the scene.

Charged is 51-year-old Robert Bailey, of Toronto.

He was due in court Monday morning.

This is the second homicide at a TCH building this year. A woman was found dead at an apartment complex in north Etobicoke on Jan. 30.
