WINNIPEG — After a blustery Sunday, Mother Nature isn’t really giving Winnipeg much of a break this week.
The winds will be gone, but the cold temperatures will be sticking around for the work week through much of southeastern Manitoba.
The southwestern part of the province will not be hit as hard with the colder weather, but they could see the affects of another clipper moving southeast across the prairies on Tuesday.
The main band of precipitation will track from northern Alberta to southwest Manitoba with more snow possible.
We could see some flurries in Winnipeg overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, but we will see below normal temperatures overnight.
The normal low at this time of year us -20 C, but we are looking at getting as cold as -29 C on Thursday.
At least the winds will be much more manageable.
By the time the weekend arrives we should be seeing milder temperatures that will take us into the following week.
