“You just can’t believe how dumb it is! Awful!” said the homeowner who was at home at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Lexus was conscious when emergency personnel arrived and suffered only minor injuries.

A crane was needed to remove the car off the roof.

The location of the home is below street level which might help explain how the car could end up on the roof.

Next-door neighbour Elaine Siddall said cars crashing into homes along the busy street “happens all the time.”

But this one “was really something.”
