Adele has dropped the mic definitively when it comes to GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump: she doesn’t want the controversial tycoon using her music at any of his political rallies.
Lately, Trump has been using Adele’s Rolling in the Deep at his campaign stops, and has also played Skyfall, Adele’s James Bond theme, after delivering a speech.
Some fans took to Twitter to question why Trump was using Adele’s music.

After seeing the social-media reaction, Adele and her management team confirmed to U.K.’s The Independent that Trump has absolutely “no permission” to use her music.
“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” a spokesman for Adele said.
Trump previously irritated Adele fans when he “cut the line” to get to his seat at her performance at the Radio City Music Hall in November.
Adele isn’t the only artist to request Trump stop using music without permission; Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler ordered Trump to stop using hit song Dream On at campaign events. Tyler’s lawyer even sent Trump’s camp a cease-and-desist letter.
Adele hasn’t taken any legal steps yet, but if Trump continues to use her music, she may not have a choice.
