The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team are working closely with local RCMP after human remains were discovered on Bowen Island. Police first received a call Friday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. from a local resident who had found the body on his property.

Bowen Island RCMP arrived at the property and deemed the death to be suspicious. “An autopsy will be required to confirm details such as victim identification, cause of death and how long the body has been there. Until we can obtain these results there will remain some unanswered questions,” says Sgt. Jennifer Pound.
