He then returned and according to witnesses, started yelling at the group before firing the handgun.

A 23-year-old man received a minor injury to his face from the gun shot.

The 54-year-old suspect was disarmed by others in the group.

He is now in police custody and charges are pending.

La Plonge is about 340 km north of Saskatoon.
