The energy company has been charged with releasing toxic sour gas into the atmosphere and failing to report it.
Alberta’s Environment Department says the alleged release of hydrogen sulphide gas occurred in May 2010.
The company’s first court date is scheduled for July 11 in Fort McMurray provincial court.
