WINNIPEG — Elections Manitoba has launched a new mobile app, which could be helpful for voters heading to the polls in April.

Manitoba Votes 2016 is offered in English and French, and allows users to easily share election information on social media.

“Our new app provides mobile users with quick access to their voting information, including a listing of candidates in their electoral division, voting location and key dates,” Shipra Verma, Manitoba’s Chief Electoral Officer said.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Users can download the app on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.

The provincial election is April 19.
