TORONTO — Police say a man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the back in the city’s downtown core Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to a call from the YMCA at Queen Street West and Vanauley Court just before 1 p.m. when a man walked in saying he was stabbed in the back.

Paramedics say the man is in serious condition but his life is not in danger.
Police told Global News then victim is no co-operating with police and no details on suspects are available at this time.
