MONTREAL – A traffic camera in Montreal’s West Island captured a stunning image Sunday of a snowy owl taking to the air.

The bird was caught in mid-flight approaching the camera with an intense gaze along Highway 40, just off Sources Boulevard.

The photos were posted by Quebec Transport Minister Robert Poëti on Facebook.
